In late December of 2000, Visual Sound, Inc. acquired the Audio/Video Products and Systems Division of Peirce-Phelps. Over the last six months, we have successfully completed the transition and have become the largest full-service audio/video and AV presentation dealer of its kind in the Mid-Atlantic region. We’re excited about the new opportunities this acquisition provides and the many capabilities we can now offer our customers.

What the Acquisition Means to You, Our Valued Customer

First and foremost, the Peirce AV acquisition gave us the opportunity to gain some of the most respected engineers and service personnel in the industry. In addition to being able to integrate AV within small to medium sized boardrooms and training facilities, we can now successfully design, engineer and service large-scale facilities, such as theatres and broadcast facilities.

Secondly, we are now an authorized dealer for many of the industry’s most prestigious audio/video and AV lines. Products from Crown, Rane, Sony, Panasonic and Zenith are just some of the lines we can now offer our customers.

Last but certainly not least, the acquisition permitted Visual Sound to continue Peirce AV’s successful Central Pennsylvania (Harrisburg) operation. We look forward to expanding in this market and opening our new facility in the coming months.
