  • Price Range:


    Prices vary depending on the size of the band, the day of the week and the time of year. An 8-piece band generally is $4500 (excluding travel expenses). All prices include professional sound and lighting, a piano or guitar cocktail hour, and four hours of continuous music. Call us for pricing on larger ensembles or special engagements.

  • Instrumentation:


    The John Alberti Dance Band has two male vocalists, two female vocalists, drums, percussion, guitar, bass, keyboards, sax, trumpet, and trombone.

    Sabroso has both a male and a female vocalist, three percussionist/drummers, guitar, bass, and keyboards.



  • Special Songs:


    We will learn the first dance, the bride and groom dance, the bride and father dance, and the groom and mother dance. We have a list of possible songs for these dances if you would like some suggestions or ideas.



  • Continuous Music:


    A live musician will be provided for all breaks except the dinner break. The entire band will break for fifteen minutes during the main course. Pre-recorded music will be provided at this time. All other breaks will be from five to ten minutes. During a four hour engagement, there will be one dinner break plus two more regular breaks. Two musicians will play during the two regular breaks.

    Note that this does not apply to events with no formal seating like station or buffet receptions. In that case, a musician will be playing at all times. If pre-recorded music is required, please notify us by email or by filling in the information on the Wedding/Event Data Sheet.



  • Travel:


    All price quotes are for engagements located within one hour travel time from the Main Line (Bryn Mawr/Ardmore area of Pennsylvania). Any events further away will have a traveling charge. Any events over two hours away will also require hotel rooms.



  • Electrical and Space Requirements:


    • Room for a twelve piece band (at least 20' x 10').
    • Preferably a carpeted staging area, but with notice the band can provide this.
    • Load-in information:  Please inform us about the presence of steps and the availability of a freight elevator. If a freight elevator is available, we require its use from 3-4 hours prior to the start of the event.
    • 220 AMP Pigtail Disconnect at 100 AMP Pull/Generator
      or 4-6 Dedicated 20 AMP 110 Volt Breakers
      (In many cases we can accommodate environments which do not meet the above specifications, but we need to have a contact person for information about that particular configuration.)
