His ensemble includes many of Philadelphia's outstanding musicians -- Grammy Award winners, full-time professionals who have played with the greats of jazz or the world-famous Philadelphia Orchestra. His vocalists have thrilled audiences around the world.

Ken has won awards and grants in performance or composition from The Pennsylvania Council for the Arts and The Philadelphia Music Foundation, among many others. His band received a citation as Best Party Band in Philly from Philadelphia Magazine.

Say Michael and Lisa Kleiner: "We wanted a variety of music for our wedding so there would be something for everyone. Ken and the Ensemble fit the bill. They could play Klezmer, the Jewish freilachs, Motown, Big Band, Swing, Rock. Guests said they never saw so much dancing. When the young children of cousins started dancing, the keyboard player grabbed an accordion and joined Ken on the dance floor to play for them. Ken's modesty, sense of humor and pleasant manner made him easy to work with."

Whether for concert or party, dancing or listening, the group is delighted to work with you to create just the atmosphere you desire. This web site is designed to help you find the sorts of music for your occasion...so have fun exploring!
