The Wedding Guide
An Invitation
After reviewing this Wedding Guide, let Perfect
Setting put your ideas into "proposal form". This
no-obligation preliminary proposal pulls together the various
details of your particular Wedding Reception and allows you
a much clearer picture of your overall cost.
Give us a call (610) 889-2040 - we can do it over
the phone. Or stop by our sales and production facility at 29
Bridge Avenue, Berwyn.
"On a day when everything has to be Perfect..."
The enclosed menu suggestions are designed to
give you a sense of our style and pricing. Please keep in mind
that we can do a lot more. Don't hesitate to tell us what you
want. As true custom caterers, Perfect Setting is always ready
to start with your ideas.
Three different reception styles are presented
in this wedding guide: Seated Served, Buffet and Food Station
Reception. Per person pricing can be found after the entrée
selection for both the Seated Served and Buffet packages. For
Food Stations we offer a base price that includes hors d'oeuvres,
starch and vegetable, coffee service, staff and equipment. The
remainder of your menu is built on an "a la carte"
basis. All package pricing is based on a guest list of 125 or
more and a recommended reception time frame. For smaller groups
simply ask for a quote.
Our prices cover menu, staff (including gratuity),
linen, china, silver, glassware, buffet decorations, bar set-ups
and floral accents.
There are absolutely no hidden costs in the prices
quoted in this guide. For example, Perfect Setting will never
tack a gratuity onto the end of a bill. We build all labor into
the first price you receive. Tables for seating and chairs are
typically added after the reception site and style of menu have
been determined. Beyond that, the only "add on" are
upgrades and 6% Pennsylvania state sales tax.
Optional services and amenities appear after the
menus section. For instance, you may want to add specialty linen
overlays. Seating options are also discussed in detail. Finally,
we offer a breakdown of all the "included services"
mentioned above. Please click the Sample Menus link above to

A Note About Reception Styles
Seated Served
A traditional plate served meal generally preceded
by a cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres. Since complete seating
is required for all guests, certain function sites may not be
appropriate unless a tenting option is available. Reception
would normally run 4-5 hours.
Buffet
This menu is presented on a single buffet. A cocktail/hors
d'oeuvres hour is usually presented before the buffet is opened.
Client may opt for limited or "casual" seating or
complete seating. Buffet receptions normally run 4-5 hours.
Food Stations
Food stations are often theme-based as in "Pasta
Station" or "Seafood Bar". A heavy hors d'oeuvres
menu accompanies a variety of stationary displays and action
stations. Casual seating is recommended with function times
ranging from 4-5 hours.
