The Music: Sabroso's first CD, Salsa Americana, includes electrifying performances of Cuban and Puerto Rican favorites like "Malanga", "Bilongo", and the famous "Que Bueno Baila Usted". The CD also has unique salsa versions of "Norwegian Wood" and "Song for my Father".  Vocal performances feature stunning scatting sequences by Phyliss Chapell and pristine harmonies from Tony Perez, Jorge Torres and Guy Russel. "Malanga" is hot, with the inventive guitar solos of Joe Mass.  The drums and percussion on the songo-infused "Guajira" are as expansive as Zepplin.
