ABOUT APPLEFORD

Appleford is best known as the premiere Main Line venue for weddings and wedding receptions.

While weddings are the major part of our business, Appleford has also hosted numerous corporate dinners, receptions and holiday parties, wine tastings and silent auctions, retirement parties, anniversary celebrations, bridal showers and memorial services.

The use of Appleford consists of 3 components: the furnished interior of the home, the tented terrace and the gardens. There is a dance floor on the flagstone terrace with seating for 200 guests. If you utilize only the inside of the house then the capacity is 135 for a non-seated event.
Rental fees :
2012-2013 Wedding and reception fees range from $4200 to $6800 depending upon the year, the time of year and the day of the week. Corporate rates range from $300-$4000; garden clubs from $150-300. Contact Appleford for specifics.
Facility restrictions :
10:00PM Curfew Mon-Sat; 9:00 PM on Sundays No smoking in the house. No parties for people under 21 without sufficient parental presence. The bar must close 30 minutes before the conclusion of the event. Must adhere to use of exclusive list of caterers and musicians for amplified music. Groom's room and Bride's suite are available 2 hours prior to the start of the ceremony.
