| When you contract the Shaw Strings to play for your wedding ceremony, you get the preludes as our gift! We start playing when your guests arrive, even though your contract states your official start time as the time printed on your invitation. In fact, we arrive early to every wedding ceremony we play in order to be set to play as the first guests are being seated. We book by the event NOT by the hour! We are committed to exceptional service and will help you choose your ceremony music! The Shaw Strings is a professional string ensemble consisting of strings, harp, classical guitar and flute. We can also supply you with a trumpet player. Our quartet features two violins, a viola and a cello. We can substitute a flute for the first violin if you wish. Founded in 1989, we have become one of the greater Philadelphia’s most popular wedding ensembles. |
