You may have guided tours of the house, but all food, drink, and other activity takes place on the grounds.

It is recommended that you choose one of our caterers to cater your event. They have all worked extensively at Stranahan House, are licensed and insured, and exhibit a high degree of professionalism, friendliness, and wonderful food. You may have another caterer after checking with our staff to assure us that they are licensed and insured. WE DO NOT PERMIT SELF-CATERED EVENTS. Fees are for a five hour event and include staff personnel and Security. Set up prior to the function is at no charge, but times must be arranged with the special events coordinator. Breakdown is immediately afterwards. There is a city noise ordinance that goes into effect at 11 p.m.
